Social media users attacked a recruitment agency after a group of their staff shared a video from their London office bragging about having computer games to play and beeping in the kitchen.

Pan-European recruitment agency Enzo Tech Group posted a video on TikTok using the “of course us” trend, where users share stereotypical habits of certain groups.

Popular on social media apps like TikTok, the hashtag has garnered more than 57.8 million views on the app.

Viewers of the clip, posted by Enzo Tech Group, couldn’t help but mock the staff, who all appeared to be Gen Z-ers, after the team was filmed boasting about their relaxed office and numerous work perks – prompting one to say this was a compelling argument for the return of National Service.

In the first part of the clip, one Gen Zer in the company is filmed filling a pint of Peroni from the office kitchen. He said: ‘We are recruiters, of course we have a beer tap in the office’.

In the picture, one employee is sitting on one of the work sofas with a game console in his hand. He said: “We are recruiters, of course we have a PlayStation, a pool table and a table tennis table.

Later in the clip, another crew member is filmed lounging casually on one of several couches. Surrounded by a television and several board games, he said: “We are recruiters, of course we have a PlayStation, a pool table and a table tennis table.”

Another scene shows a woman walking past a glamorous make-up mirror and a table full of beauty products. She said, “We’re recruiters, of course we have a beauty station in our office.”

However, viewers of the clip were quick to come up with their own hilarious versions of the trend, including “we’re recruiters, of course we failed college degrees.”

Another user wrote: ‘We are recruiters, we have nothing to offer the company, but we want money to find people who do.’

A third said: ‘We’re recruiters, of course we’re on minimum wage! That’s okay – our bonuses are free beer and pool.

Others had their own take on the clip, writing: “Car sales, recruitment, estate agents. Three of the most bags of money to grab jobs scammers. And these people think they are professionals?’

“Are there any adults working here?” another clapped.

Enzo Tech Group describes itself on LinkedIn as “an on-demand service that connects IT professionals and companies across Europe so everyone can reap the rewards.”

Recruiters at this tech company say they spend a lot of time standing at their desks

The year-old company is run by recruiters and salespeople with offices in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and also on Canon Street in London.

His website, which is full of pictures of what appears to be a largely Gen Z team, includes crazy “we don’t see selling as a sin” one liners.

In addition to its other quirks, standing at a desk is seemingly a given in the Canon Street office, which is becoming an increasingly popular trend.

As is a habit that Gen Zers are often criticized for – they’re always on the phone, with one employee admitting, “We’re recruiters, of course I’m always on the phone.”

Other videos released by the company also showcase various work perks, including “spa” and boozy lunches, as well as a company Christmas party aboard a yacht.
